As school begins, schedules may change. When will you add fitness to your calendar? For the best results, regular exercise is recommended every single day for about 30 minutes each day! Make sure it gets on your calendar!
And, as you wait for a body part to feel better, work the rest. A strong core is beneficial for quicker recovery time. You can work around a sore body part, and while you do, you will notice you feel better and can move better! Today at the 9:45 and 4:45 classes we will use a body bar and a weightless small ball. I provide equipment! If you are Zooming and don't have the suggested equipment, you may substitute. Or use your own body weight as resistance. Just show up! Once you start coming, you won't want to miss a class!! "Before meeting Jane, I suffered from sciatica. If fact, the pain was severe in my right leg it prevented me from carrying out many normal activities, and I was unable to get a quality night’s sleep. In March I met Jane Stauffer, and everything changed for me. After working-out twice a week for a few weeks my nerve pain was gone. Because of the severity of the problem, it took almost 3 weeks for me to be able to get a good night’s sleep. I am so grateful to Jane for working with me and getting to the source of the problem. Thank you, Jane, for your care and professionalism in helping me lead a healthier lifestyle." --Bob S. Bored with your current routine? Need something new, different, and refreshing to keep you interested and your muscles guessing? Want to add low impact fitness to what you're already doing? Do you know someone who fits this scenario? Bring them and come in person or Zoom in!!
Begin your weekend with exercise!!! 9:45 this morning! We will use bands and a chair today. Each class has a unique design and it becomes personalized toward your fitness needs. "I love the introduction you give each day. How you manage all the scenarios that relate to every day living is amazing. You are special." --Mary R. How do you become motivated? Motivation comes from within. I can inspire and encourage, but you get to motivate yourself. Especially this past year I've heard so many people tell me that they just can't seem to _______. Mostly it's been self care. They can't stop eating sugary and processed foods, they can't keep the weight off. They can't begin an exercise program. They won't visit friends or go outside. Is it fear? Well, I can tell you that when people connect with others in my fitness sessions, they feel so much better and then they have more desire to do more. Reach out!! This group cares about you and your well-being! How can I inspire and encourage you today?
Add a new healthy behavior to your day! It could be simply drinking more water, working out, choosing fruit over a cookie, parking farther away from the door, taking the stairs, calling a friend, praying, learning how to play an instrument, enjoying nature, smiling more.... Healthy behaviors spark more healthy behaviors. :) They are good for your health, well-being, happiness, contentment, positivity..... The behaviors will continue to build for a healthier lifestyle! What will you choose to add today? I always encourage you to join us via Zoom! :)
Restore movement, oxygen, balance, energy by getting your whole body MOVING! :) Come regularly to get amazing results. Feel better day to day!!
"Class was great. I still am amazed how each class is different and that you never use notes and know what you have planned. Your brain is VERY healthy!" --Fran 4/8/2021 Safe, fun outdoor workouts. Ask me about the times of the classes and personal coaching sessions.
I also coach clients via Zoom, FaceTime, and Messenger. Fun Functional Fitness all the way!! Hilliard City Schools will be closed tomorrow, so the Hilliard Community Center will not be offering any classes.
My home fitness studio will be ready to go at 10:15 for class!! Would you like to come? If we have a minimum of 5 people, I will hold class in my studio. Let me know! Our theme is fall prevention and technique emphasizing core and hip strength. SO GOOD FOR YOU! Keep moving and stay warm! Is your daily living consistent with your cellular design?
Do you do what you can to become and remain your best version of you? Are you serious about self care? Now is a fine time to start and to continue your health journey. Start where you are and strive for progress, not perfection. Exercise is SO important for future health! Be consistent and purposeful with exercise. Have fun, get stronger and healthier in my functional fitness classes!! Take a look at (and Like) my Facebook page to get an idea of what classes are like. Come to classes to learn how to stabilize the knee joint and mobilize the hips and ankles.
Pain in the knees can be caused by many factors such as overuse, injury and arthritis. Poor form and body mechanics contribute to stress on the joints. Lack of core strength contributes to poor posture resulting in changes of center of gravity - ultimately adding more stress to the joints. Medical intervention may be necessary in some cases. To prevent knee pain and to guard your knees against further wear and tear, you want to move well and strengthen the muscles surrounding the joint. You also want to lengthen the muscles so they don't constrict natural movement. Fascia will also be addressed. These fitness sessions are filled with valuable information and total body conditioning. I recently spoke at the Dublin Rec Center. Check out my Facebook for pictures. If you would like me to speak to your group, please get in touch with me. I love to educate and motivate people to get stronger and healthier. It's NEVER too late to begin your health journey!! |
