Opportunities are coming up! The New Lifestyle would like to invite you to join us Tuesday September 30 around 6:30 at Panini Opa immediately after our 5:30 fitness class at Northwest United Methodist Church. Part of our health journey is to de-stress. One way to accomplish this is to hang around positive, energizing, and encouraging people. You'll find that with our group at NWUMC. Feel welcome to join our 5:30 fitness class too. If you have only a bit of energy before class, see how it grows as the class continues! Exercise definitely helps our energy and our mood.
Taking care of ourselves is absolutely important! Our "to do" lists seem to multiply as we cross off an item. We put so much pressure on ourselves to be and do much more than we can handle while we drain our own tanks. Reality check! I second guessed myself when I was invited to go kayaking this weekend. How would I make up for lost time to accomplish my tasks? I had emails to send out, laundry to do, and the yard needed attention! Details, details. I took a deep breath and said yes to a fun filled weekend instead. I made the right decision! I am so REFRESHED!!!! The weather was beautiful. It was so peaceful on the water! Brian, Aurora, Cameron, and I were all by ourselves. We completely disconnected from our devices and bonded with each other! I felt peaceful and content. I gained perspective on what really matters. My tip for today is to recognize what really matters. Take time to nurture meaningful relationships!
