Fitness focus: It's almost Christmas! There is so much to do! I understand how busy you must be.
Maintaining health is so much easier than gaining it, so keep up that healthy lifestyle! The New Lifestyle fitness classes will help create energy and focus. Remember to feed your body with nutritious food so it can improve your immunity and help you heal from the inside. For breakfast I really enjoy my "nutmeal". I take about a handful of raw almonds and pecans or walnuts, about 6 dates, and about a cup of coconut or almond milk. I use my food processor to make it a fine consistency. I add about a tablespoon of honey and some cinnamon and top it off with fruit. Enjoy it hot or cold. The week of December 21st, our classes are Monday and WEDNESDAY at the Hilliard Community Center at 10:30am. Learn functional fitness - fitness you use in everyday activities - in fun and creative ways. Wednesday we'll use the large stability balls. For Hilliard City School employees, you are encouraged to join these classes since we won't have our Fresh Start classes Tuesday/Thursday classes at Hilliard Station during break. If you'd like a personal or small group (up to 4) coaching session, let me know what works with your schedule. Gift Certificates for a free class are for sale. They are $5 each.
