I want to give a BIG shout out to Jane. I had a large heavy delivery (about 35 pounds) left at my front door and 2 small packages. Of course, I decided I could move all of them at the same time to the garage. I lifted it, from legs of course, to move them. To move them it required me to carry them down a half dozen steps to a small landing then one more step to the drive. Well, I lifted them, got them down the first half dozen steps to the landing and proceeded to step onto the driveway, forgetting I had another step. I fell, well actually I didn’t fall, I jerked down, my whole body slipped/jerked but I didn’t fall, nor did I drop the packages. I immediately thanked God that I didn’t hurt myself, and Jane for all the amazing strength, core, and stability training I’ve received over the years. Thanks Jane.

I suffered a couple of back injuries in the early 2000s. I endured so much pain, for so many years, I’d lost hope of ever leading, anything close, to a “normal life”. I was very active before. I was always doing something. I can’t count the therapies and procedures I endured. At one point I was going to 3-4 doctors appointments a week and on many many prescriptions. I had numerous surgeries with varying results. None actually lasted long term. Eventually I had a couple of neurostimulators implanted. Again with varying results. They helped but not enough. I lost my job, my marriage was in real jeopardy. I become a prisoner of the pain. I withdrew from almost everything. I lived with my family but had never felt so alone.
I met Jane after my wife ran into her while walking our dog and arranged a puppy play date.
I was truly terrified to really try to exercise. Jane encouraged me to let her evaluate me. We did individual sessions at first and eventually I started her classes 3 times a week. With her guidance I found myself getting stronger and healthier. Eventually I found myself craving more, so I would ride my bike to class. That was getting too easy so I would ride longer distances before and after class. The weather eventually turned too cold to ride in so I started running to class. I ended up falling (twice) while running in the snow, so I decided to join a gym so could use their treadmill and began lifting weights again, which had been a passion earlier in my life. I’m now 50 lbs lighter, in the best shape since my injury and able to run 10k easily. Jane was instrumental in this journey I can’t thank her enough!
**I wanted to add to my testimonial.
I had been diagnosed with both obstructive and central sleep apnea. I used a BiPAP to help me sleep for over 7 years. I’m no longer on any medication or needing the BiPAP.

I started going to The New Lifestyle program, coached by Jane Stauffer, to build up my endurance & strength, as I have been learning to golf after age 60. Beginning this year I have been able to golf 18 holes instead of being exhausted after 9 holes. That's a big breakthrough for me! I started to attend Jane's class without any idea what I was getting myself into. The second I walked in I felt welcome and invited. Jane is great at making you feel comfortable and pushes you to try your hardest and do your best. The class has not only been fun to attend but it is also very rewarding. Jane has challenged me to push a little deeper and step out of my comfort zone of "normal exercises." She uses her knowledge of the body to work muscles that I did not even know were there! The exercises and stretching helps my body to stay limber and stretched out. Any headache or muscle stiffness that I have is gone by the end of class. I believe that consistent exercise keeps me to stay healthy and prevents me from getting sick. I haven’t been sick during the entire flu season. Wow! Jane helps me so much with her advanced fitness training, her unique ability to “see" what we each need… even when we cannot put it into words, and her joyful outlook on life makes exercise fun. I look forward to it, even when I know she works me really hard. By working out with Jane on a regular basis, I have been able to do things that amaze me. I am stronger, have better balance, greater stamina and I’m developing nice muscle tone. To me, this is very exciting. I can do so much more now that I am exercising regularly with Jane. --a little background info: I was diagnosed more than 25 years ago with Multiple Sclerosis. And for way way too many years my health was basically declining. There were many ups and downs along the way, and I thought I was “happy” — but I realized I had lost all faith in myself and was reliant on others for many things in my life. After my experience with “energy” training and life coaching… I was able to regain my self-confidence and courage to drive again and re-entered the workforce after many years of not trusting myself to hold a job.
Woo Hoo!!! My life has transformed in the last couple of years. And Jane has played a big part in my physical transformation.
Give yourself the gift of regular exercise with Jane. It is one of the most important ways to love yourself.

The New Lifestyle Fitness Classes are fabulous and so conveniently located! I attend at the Hilliard Senior Center. The standing and chair exercises are challenging and appropriate. They are perfect for someone like me with physical limitations from multiple neck and back surgeries. I was involved in a head on collision 4 years ago. As a result of this accident, I was left with soft tissue, muscle & nerve damage in my neck. Prior to this accident I was very active & Jazzercised 3 times a week. Due to the accident, I became sedentary for 4 years. I tried returning to Jazzercise but reinjured my neck and had to stop. I joined a gym, tried attending a couple of different classes there, but my neck really started bothering me after that.

When I crawled out of bed this morning, I could feel our workout in my shoulders. I used the stretches you showed me for my shoulders and neck, and felt much better. Then when I walked up the steps at work, ouch! I could feel the workout in my hips and glutes. I love it!
