"I feel better!"
"My knees don't hurt anymore!"
"I'm not depressed anymore!"
"I like to see my friends."
"My doctor took me off my blood pressure medicine."
"I want to be able to get up off the floor."
"I am stronger!"
"I can remain independent."
"I can reach higher."
"I want to lose weight."
"I am healthier!"
"It's good for me."
"To be a better me."
"My Parkinson's symptoms are better."
"I know I need this to overcome my MS."
"I care for my husband, and I know I need to care for myself first."
"I look better."

These are reasons I've heard recently.  What is YOUR "big why"?  Your reason needs to be internal, not external.  If your reason is external, once you hit the goal your reason goes away.  Exercise needs to be part of your lifestyle.

I teach functional moves for daily activities.  I serve a variety of fitness levels in a variety of ways using a variety of equipment.  All low impact, fun, and challenging.  See below for current class times and locations.  Also, visit my website and like The New Lifestyle on Facebook.  :)

EXTRAS:
Lunch after fitness - Thursday, April 14.  Would you like to go to Scrambler's on Britton Parkway?
Speaker - Mary Jo Reimann will talk about cancer - Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00pm.  No charge.  Please RSVP.  Guests are welcome!  From Mary Jo:
Has your life been touched, poked, or prodded by cancer? Mine Has!

When my husband and I began our trek into the world of “The Big C”, we were overwhelmed and clueless. Unfortunately, the medical world of oncologists did little to truly educate us. So, for the first 2/3 of our nine-year journey, we trusted the advice and protocols of doctors. It was only in the last three years of David’s life, after we ‘divorced traditional medicine’ that I became a researcher. David’s body got stronger and healthier as we began embracing natural healing, even though he still had cancer. That was eleven years ago… David has been in heaven for eight years. Occasionally, I imagine that the end of the story may have been different if I’d known at the outset what I know now about the body’s natural ability to heal, given the right resources.

I will be sharing the basics of my acquired knowledge on April 19, at Jane Stauffer’s house. Some of the information will not be new. You know that ‘you are what you eat’ and your habits, good or bad, have consequences. However, I’m pretty certain that some information will be eye opening. In my opinion, just as a new cancer patient gets assigned to an oncologist, I believe they should be in the care of a nutritionist, as well. Come and learn how you can be proactive in stripping cancer of its power. Bring a friend who needs this info, too. Your body will thank you.

Sneak preview:

  1. Filtered water – should you buy a water filtering system?
  2. Eat REAL food, not processed, packaged, or preserved
  3. Do I really need to eat organic and non-GMO?
  4. Non-stick cookware; OK or not?
  5. What are ‘clean’ cleaning products?
  6. Disposable VS reusable diapers, wipes, and/or feminine products
  7. Hand-sanitizer? OK or yucky chemicals that don’t come off.
  8. Hair, beauty and personal care products; what’s good and what’s not?
  9. Direct sun --- good or bad for you? Hint: most sunscreens aren’t safe
  10. Do I really need to exercise, breathe, and sleep more?
  11. What about the emotions? How is forgiveness involved?
