This week in fitness

This week we will "get it all" through a variety of equipment including chairs, weights, tubes, small balls, and your own resistance.  If you have any requests or areas of concern, you may mention them.  We'll get those too! :)

Our healthy lifestyle tip this week is:  stretching.
It is important to take the time to stretch if you are seated too long and after a strengthening class.
A few benefits you gain after regular stretching are:

  • Reduced muscle tension
  • Increased range of movement in the joints
  • Enhanced muscular coordination
  • Increased circulation of the blood to various parts of the body
  • Increased energy levels (resulting from increased circulation)
Invite a friend to join you to learn some stretches and to get stronger.  You may bring a tennis ball in a long sock to learn how to get deep muscle tissue to relax too.

Weekly classes are at the Hilliard Community Center each Monday and Thursday at 10:30, and at the Hilliard Church of the Nazarene each Saturday morning at 9:45.

Also, you may schedule a small group or personal coaching session appointment with me any time.

See you soon!
